Workshop Structure
The Ensemble (you)
Bespoke arrangements of songs from each theme is taught by ear in harmony to the group. No experience, audition choreography or solo singing but plenty of encouragement.
The Soloist (Performer guest)
Q and A with stage/screen artist gives the group the chance to ask their burning queries about everything Musicals, Theatre, Performing and Singing
The Finale
Participants experience singing with the professional singer taking the lead, creating an exciting finale to the day (often filmed to view at a later date).
The Encore (extra treat)
The group is serenaded by a free choice solo from the guest star.
Grease Workshop
You'll be taught by ear. Open to all, no experience required, no audition or solo singing, light choreography

FAQ's
There's no audition and you don't need to be a trained singer as we teach by ear . If a particular workshop has choreography it will be very 'light', no splits or star jumps.
We don't use music notation or terminology and teach by ear so there is no need to read music... easy!
These are one off bookings of various prices per event, on a as pay as you go basis, see each event for details. No termly fees or commitment to book in terms. This fee is non-refundable

The first session is completely free so that you can see if we're the choir for you. There is no pressure or hard sell, we leave it to you to contact the office if you would like to join where we will happily answer any questions and sign you up. Going forward each session is £10.80. Refunds not provided
The Choir Experience - Funky Voices Community Choirs
Membership as a Funky Voices singer is £126.48 (inc. VAT) per 12 week rolling term. This covers your membership as a Funky Voices singer including the 2 hour weekly venue rehearsal plus gigs and performances with free entry to many event and festivals, access to online rehearsals and opportunities for competitions, tours and more. Payment is made for each 12 week block and you are welcome to attend as many sessions a week as you wish. We run throughout the year, except 2 weeks at Christmas and bank holidays. Your term dates are found on your Member Dashboard. Refunds not provided
Staff Choirs and Team Building Choirs
Each event is bespoke per client or group and is dependant on aims and costings
